Kandiyohi Power Cooperative today announced that high school students that live on our territory may apply now to attend the 56th annual Washington, D.C. Youth Tour. The tour will be held June 14-19, 2022.
“The annual Washington Youth Tour is truly a once-in-a-lifetime event for Minnesota high school students,” said Ryan Nelson, CEO. “Since 1964, America’s electric cooperatives have sent students to our nation’s capital to give future leaders in co-op communities a front-row seat to American government. Youth Tour participants are the bright light for our future and become leaders in their communities, and I look forward to another safe, successful and fun tour this year.”
Students have until February 14, 2022 to apply. To apply, students should complete the application found on our Youth Tour page.
