Application for Service
If you have purchased or are moving to property served by Kandiyohi Power Cooperative, you need to request the service be transferred into your name. Please contact our office at 800-551-4951 or complete the online form. You are required to:
- Request the service be transferred to your name.
- Provide the required personal information: name, address, SSN, phone number, email
- Pay a security deposit or sign up for automatic payment.
Stopping Service
If you are moving off the system, Kandiyohi Power Cooperative needs the date you moving and a forwarding address. Please make sure we have a correct forwarding address for the processing of your final bill. Even though you may no longer be a KPC member, keeping a current address on file ensures you receive your Capital Credit checks when your patronage capital is retired in the future. When moving, you are responsible for the electric use until the cooperative is contacted and arrangements have been made to finalize the account in your name.
Landlords
Please keep us informed when renters move in and out of your property. We need the date their lease ends and a forwarding address for their final bill. Please help us keep our records current with your address and phone number in the event we need to contact you. If a renter is going to be disconnected for non-payment, we attempt to contact the landlord before the service is disconnected.
